ZMM Haskovo was established in 1970 as a company from the system of the state companies - Plant for Metal Processing Machines. By 1988 it has mainly produced self-working units and generators for generator machines on a cooperative manufacturing scheme for the Plants for Metal Processing Machines – Sofia , Russe, Silistra.
After 1989, it has started manufacturing wood-working machines, mainly four-sided planer.
Presently, it produces a range of 5 types four-sided planer for wood joinery with window panes, multiblade circular saw..
For a year now the company has started intense manufacturing of biomass machines – wood chippers and pellets machines.
All machines have CE and TUF certificates for the compliance of the products with the European Directives.
The company is certified as per ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System.

After the privatization in 1997, ZMM Haskovo AD has become a daughter company of ERATO HOLDING AD. Greater number of the machines produced are exported.
ZMM Haskovo maintains long-year business cooperation relations with companies from Spain, Italy, Austria, the Czech Republic, Russia, and England.

The company is a member in the following professional organizations:
    • Bulgarian Branch Chamber – Machine Building;
    • Branch Chamber of Woodworking and Furniture Industry (BCWFI);
    • Scientific Technical Union – Haskovo;
    • Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI;
