The company was established in 1997 as part of a large-scale energy project related with the processing and realization of wood and waste-free processing of wood biomass in ecologically clean end products – pellets and energy slivers (chips).
Erato Resource Ltd. is an experienced producer of biomass fuels:
- pellets – with the available capacity we are able to produce annually 1500-2000 tons of pellets of wood saw-dust or other energy crops – such as straw, cornstalks, wheat, corn, dun-flower flakes, etc;
- energy slivers (chips) –with the installed stationary and mobile cutting machine we produce 2000 tons of chips a year;
- fruit pits – we annually dry up and process pits of cherries, plums, peaches, apricots, crushed nutshells, pea-nut and hazelnut shells, etc. – about 1000 tons;
- fir – annually we prepare fir with humidity up to 20 % - about 800-1000 cubic meters;
- production and sale of heat – we gave contract concluded with various companies for production and sale of heat obtained from bio-mass.
We produce quality timber.
The available capacity allows us to produce annually 1560 cubic meters of wood trunks at low costs and high efficiency.
This raw material is used for production of:
- beams turned on a lathe, 22 cm, for construction of Bulgarian wooden eco houses;
- processed wood;
- production of pellets – standard and according to dimensions of the client;
- drying of wood – we have at our disposal a drier, using wood, with a capacity of up to 60 cubic meters per month.

Erato Resource Ltd. is a member of the Building Chamber in Bulgaria.
Main priority in the processing and realization of the pellets and the energy slivers (chips) is their optimization with the sale of facilities (boilers, furnaces and other similar appliances using these products), and in this way the client gets a complex consumer product – heat.
