CONSTRUCTION STAGES
1st to the 2nd week - Preparation of materials.
We use high quality coniferous wood for the construction of the prefabricated wooden houses of trunks with a make "Årato LogHome".
The first stage of the preparation is lathe turning. The trunks are lathe turned and round profile beams with a diameter of 22 cm are made. The lathe turned material is processed with high quality Swedish impregnating material, providing protection of the wood against damages caused by insects, termites and rotting, caused by mould, as well as against the so-called "blue colouring".
3rd – 4th week – Placing of the foundations
After the construction of the concrete foundations, which according the design complies with the earthquake norms, the laying of the trunk foundations of the house commences. The foundations are leveled and anchored to the concrete foundation.
5th-6th week – Construction
The walls are made of mutually crossing at the ends beams with diameter 22 cm, forming the allocation of the premises. The wooden buildings have light construction. Their mass is 15 times smaller than that of the conventional construction. Therefore, they are perfect for construction in areas with land slips and terrains with weaker bearing capacity. The unique structure of the trunk walls, as well as the insulation between the beams provide for the much higher sound penetration quotient.
7th week – Construction of the roof structure
A massive bearing structure of beams is constructed, finishing the rough construction works.
8th week – Installation of Water and Sewerage system and electric installation
The systems are put mainly in the space between the walls and the floor. The electric system is laid in a special double insulated duct for installation on wood. The Water and Sewerage pipes are made of polypropylene and are in compliance with all the standards and requirements, they do not corrode and do not keep sediments.
9th week – Placement of insulations
Products of world known companies are used, producers of mineral wool insulations. With its unique qualities – thermal insulation, sound absorption, water and humidity resistance, steam penetration – the insulation contributes to the comfort and security of the houses.
10th - 11th week – Roof covering and joinery frames
The roof covering is to be placed. It can be of roof tiles, bitumen tiles, voalit, etc. by order of the client. The joinery is wooden with window panes, complying with all European requirements for thermal and sound insulation. The wooden structure and wooden joinery form a natural thermal bridge, preventing the formation of condense.
12th -17th week - Finishing works
Grinding, staining and polishing in the desired colors
