BIOMASS CENTER

The term "biomass" means organic substance with plant or animal origination. The biomass is considered as the future renewable resource in a worldwide scale.

There is a great variety of the types of biomass, but these of interest from the point of view of their usage for energy purposes are: wood, plants, remnants from the agriculture and forestry, as well as the organic components of the domestic and industry wastes.

For the heating systems, which burning process is automated, the most spread are: wood pellets, fruit pits, wood saw-dust, wood chips, etc. For the boilers, having smaller capacity, the most applicable is the usage of wooden pellets or a mix (pellets and cherry pits).

The wooden pellets represent compressed under high pressure wood saw-dust without using whatever chemical adhesives or resins. The obtained product is ecologically clean with a diameter of 6-8 mm and humidity content of up to 10 %. From consumer’s point of view, they are an exceptionally comfortable fuel providing good possibilities for regulation of the burning process. The thermal comfort, created by them is equivalent to that achieved by burning of natural gas. The long-term perspective of this fuel is to become cheaper than the natural gas.

It is offered in packages of 15 and 20 kilograms.
