"Erato" Advertising Center – "AND THERE APPEARED LIGHT FOR ALL"

 The slogan of Erato Company Haskovo is well – known: "Heat for all!" But when I visited the advertising center of this prosperous Haskovo Company, which was founded due to the need of more advertisements for the company, which therefore lead to development of the department, which is now called Advertising Center, they also make pre-printing preparations, I was persuaded that one more slogan should be added – "Light for all" Because, what all people from the advertising department do, really gives light in the overall activities of the Company. In this aspect was our conversation with some of the people who work in the "Erato" Advertising Center.

Neli Muzafirova: "First of all I would like to point out the need for creation of the advertising center in our Company. As most of the articles, used in "Erato" come from abroad, our basic activities are concerned with applying the accompanying documents and literature, in order to make it comfortable and usable enough for our clients. In other words, we prepare the passport of each article. And from a copy center we grew up to an advertising department, which started to deal with advertising solutions. We have more than 450 publications, audio clips; we participate in a TV guide, as well as advertisements on the National radio and all private radio stations in our country. The wide spreading of Erato’s activities showed the necessity of an advertising center."

Neli Stefanova, manager of the Advertising Center: "Since last year Erato Company issues their own newspaper, that is prepared in the advertising center. So we also deal with publishing activities. At the moment we are preparing the second edition. We tend to publish it twice a month, it is intended mostly for project specialists and heat – technologies specialists, but our clients can also use it rationally. Everybody, who wishes to build a heating system at home, can only with the help of this newspaper understand how this can practically happen. It is not accidental that its title is "Home Heating Technologies". Together with that we also prepare all advertising materials that are needed for various exhibits – either for the Plovdiv Sample Fair or for other places, as well as to the forthcoming in May "Bul-term" in Sofia."

ACCOUNTING IS THE MIRROR...

Ivanka Chuhovska – head – accountant of "Erato": "According to me in each economic unit the most important thing is the accounting model for reporting its activity, because the accounting in relation to management is a subsystem to the managing system, and the analysis of the accounting information is the basis of the financial management of the Company.

To say in simple words accounting is the mirror to all our economic activity. That’s why I think that the accounting policy, i.e. the choice of accounting model is the most responsive task of the financial – accounting department. It is necessary that all principles and regulations of the National Accounting Standards be absolutely kept at; we must also strictly obey the Accounting Law, and the normative regulations in order to be perfect to the auditing institutions and to be received a true and honor description of the property and the financial status of the Company.

When I look back the economic results in the passed five years I recall the Company history, the everyday problems we had, about how much it was worth the attainments to each single person in our team.

I am really satisfied that for this good success I also have some contribution. I would say that I am proud with that. Since 1991 when I started work here, for three years I was the only woman in the Company, now we are already ten. Sometimes I remember the time about four years ago when I heard the prognoses of Mr. Muzafirof considering the forthcoming 2 – 3 years for progress, a distributor net in the country, export trading, computerization of the information, for our own advertising center. To be honest, I was quite doubtful; it sounded like dreams shared aloud. Now I am looking at the numbers and I think what circulation of papers and document we have gone through, what was the pressure for the managers and last but not least that "Erato" with their humble works in the field of heating has deposited in the National Budget about 120 million leva, the company helps sick people, assigns grants, presents money to schools, hospitals, cultural institutions /"Prof. Asen Zlatarov" Children’s Home, the school of the village of Sarnitsa, "Orfei" choir, "Ruja" Music House, the church in the village of Malevo, the Regional Hospital in Haskovo, annual subscription to "Anti-drug" newspaper for children from the schools and many others.

 Now I remember something else that Mr. Muzafirof said. Soon after I started work we spoke about the perspectives of "Erato" Company. I was surprised when he said that nothing could destroy our Company. I was really amazed when I heard that even a war could not bankrupt us. "However, he said, if we betray the trust of the banks, the tax institutions, the export partners, other suppliers and clients, then we will bankrupt."

Yes, it is true, in all those years due to our honest and correct relations with FIB, BIC "Vitosha" and Balkanbank we have had no problems and owing to our mutual trust both sides are satisfied. We have even sent official notes of gratitude. The rendered confidence and freedom of activities really lead to the greatest feeling of responsibility. Our team is wonderful. The managers of the department work really hard, their salaries are connected to the financial result if the Company, so their efforts are not accidental. The registered list is about 20 people, not counting the numerous assistant-distributors. Because we speak about the women in the Company I would like to say something about them. We don’t see much with my colleagues from the advertising center, but with the accountants we are constantly together. I want to thank to Elena Ivanova, a former head-accountant of "Bisera" EOOD that she agreed to join our team and that she is always everywhere with me. Without her I would not cope with the increase of the circulation of papers and documents. Not long ago Todorka Mihova, a very nice person, did join our team, with a huge professional experience in accounting. A month ago, just graduating university with strong theoretical knowledge, in our Company started work Kristina Ivanova – Keti, to whom I promise accumulation of professionalism in the accounting and economic sphere, so vast, for those who love it. I would be very happy if I now train a future graduating expert-accountant. Said in simple words, I am very happy not only of the fact that I am the richest accountant in Haskovo, but also because I work with the best team I could ever wish to. The only thing is that I feel enormously in debt to my family who I have ignored in the weekends, but they have always understood me.

When the question is about the perspective of our Company, even for all companies that are not state or municipality ones, in that 1996 I was really worried. Suddenly, it turned out that the great expectations that I had were in vain. For a period of 5 years "Erato" could not reach the state or municipality enterprises considering the material basis. We have some means of transport and a dozen computers, but we could not save money for our own administrative building, or our own warehouses. Five years is not like forty years, but we are looking forward to a new law for the profit tax and that is why it is very difficult to be an accountant, because you clearly see how the desire of the people that rule the country to make business fades away.

Now I remember the late Mr. Bobotanov – former financial inspector, who told me many years ago, that you don’t have to think it over if the law is justifiable, or not, if it is correct or not, you have not the right to do that, you only have to obey to it. He was right in his conclusions, but I keep thinking that having in mind our norms and regulations, it is a very difficult task.
