ERATO company was established by Eng. Georgi Muzafirov and was registered as unlimited partnership in 1989.
In December 1996 the company was transformed into a joint stock company and its re-registration as a holding company was effected on 07.07.1997 by virtue of a judgment of Haskovo County Court.
Since 1990, the business of the company has been mainly focused in the field of household heating equipment, woodworking machines, kitchen and office fittings, and the carrying-out of international and domestic transport activity.
The company conducts import and sale of a wide scope of heating equipment for households and for the public sector including, boilers, cast iron and aluminum heaters, steel panel heaters, heating fittings, pipe systems, burners, circulation pumps, etc.

For the market realization of the abovementioned product range of comprehensive heating installations ERATO builds and develops a country-wide distribution network which includes more than 50 engineering companies which cover the entire territory of the country. In 1997 the company set up its own production of heating products electrical, pyrolisis boilers, aluminum heaters, etc, and established its name as one of the leaders in Bulgaria in the field of heating equipment.
With the purchase of the control package of shares in ZMM Haskovo AD in 1998, ERATO Holding AD widened its production range by adding a large variety of woodworking machines designated for the domestic market and for export in countries such as Austria, Germany, Italy, Spain, Finland, Russia, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic and others.
In 2000 ERATO HOLDING AD committed its corporate business strategy to result-oriented work in the field of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) and Energy Efficiency (EE) and for a relatively short period of time managed to gain experience and expertise and to implement technologies in the field of biomass energy utilization in Bulgaria. Today, the experience gained by ERATO HOLDING AD and the results achieved by it can be viewed from the position of a leading company in the field of heating equipment considering not only the import products by leading European companies for biomass energy utilization whose exclusive agent for the country is ERATO HOLDING AD but also the main indicators which distinguish ERATO HOLDING AD from all other local companies working in the same field, namely: comprehensive solution of the task involving extraction, production, storage of biomass fuels, local production of boilers and equipment for its utilization with capacity from 18 kW to 50 kW designated for household use and with power capacity from 300 kW to 1100 kW designated for use in the public sector and industry, complete engineering and servicing of the built installations and equipment.
The implemented production of wood chippers in ZMM Haskovo AD in 2006, our own production of wooden pellets and processing lines for their production as well as our own specialized transport which the company provides for these fuels ensure a solid ground for the sustainable business development of ERATO in the spreading global energy crisis.

Lead by its business strategy whose major component is energy efficiency, in 2004 ERATO HOLDING AD implemented the production and building of energy efficient and eco-houses of wooden logs LogHome type which it made popular and successfully placed not only on the house market in Bulgaria, but successfully stepped on the markets in countries such as Greece, the Netherlands and France.
